Contact improvisation faciltator, teacher and dancer

Can we embark on a journey
where body and mind converge, exploring
the borders of self through dance?

The body is in the mind, the mind is in the body

Contact improvisation is a path to the worship of movement, the spirit and the consciousness. The matter we see and recognise as the body is secondary to the image of the body in the mind’s eye. When we are dancing with spirit, consciousness leaves the head and dwells in the flesh, sinew and ligaments.

By embracing this dance between self and non-self, we find an expansion of self rather than diminishment.

We are all that our senses perceive—the partner, the floor, the air, the skies, and the water.

The more one sees oneself as the dance between self and non-self, the more deeply one can live in the moment.
